Over the past couple of years online video hosting sites have exploded, allowing users to easily upload and share videos on the web. Among all the Web 2.0 players in this area, YouTube is currently top dog serving up over 100 million video views a day and allowing users not only to upload their own video content easily, but also embed clips into their own sites easily.

Hello everyone in today's class i signed up to Blogline which i found it a little easy because i already know how to manage RSS feeds.
First Step that i took was create a new valid email:

Second Step Select RSS feed that you will be interested in :

In the end after you have created a account you can add new RSS feeds either by importing a opml file or searching using a keyword.

Create an RSS reader account
Hello everyone !
Today class was pretty intersting because i heared of RRS Feeds and those funny small tages on website but neve knew the actual thing.
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication". I have personally used this in relation to website administration when there is more then one site to administer it is great to be able to glance at any changes to content without having to visit.
RSS is fastest way to keep up to date on your favourite news or just about any website that delivers news of some sort, whether it is personal news for family or public news.
Here is a picture of Google reader's Rss Feed view:

You can also add new RSS feeds from this site by clicking on the Add a Subscription button as shown here:

Create a blog & register it
A blog is just a website made up of entries (called posts), which provides readers the option to be notified of new posts via a subscription feed.
Creating a blog using Blogger takes just three steps:
<>Create an account (view screenshot)
<>Name your blog (view screenshot)
<>Select your template (view screenshot
We’ll use this as a record of where you are up to in the program.

Extend your browser
Hello people!! This week class was different because we watched a video that will take me through the process of installing search plugins and add-ons.
Search plugins
Search plugins exist for all sorts of useful search tools, including search engines, Library catalogues, and other online resources.
Search plugins can be found by clicking on the down arrow in the search box, selecting “Manage search engines…” and then “Get more search engines...” in Firefox, or “Find More Providers” in Internet Explorer.
It’s worth noting that Firefox is much friendlier when it comes to the number and variety of add-ons available, so if you don’t normally use Firefox you might like to give it a try for this Thing.
Firefox was released in mid-2008, and some add-ons that worked fine with version 2 may not yet work with the new version. The Firefox add-ons site will automatically detect which version you’re using and let you know if there’s a problem with a particular add-on.

Diploma Blog
Today at the Advanced Website class i have been informed to create blog for Iglias and Janet.
23 Things is online learning program that encourages people to learn more about emerging technologies on the web, technologies that are changing the way people, society, teachers, and students access information and communicate with each other.
Over the course of the next few months, this website will highlight “23 Things” to help me become familiar with blogging, RSS news feeds, wikis, podcasting, online applications, video and image hosting sites, and more.
In the end I found these program really intersting and can't wait to get it start it :)
